Hello Springtime.

Hello lovely friends and happy first day of April.

Ahh…how beautiful the world is at this time of year.
I cannot help but think how magical it would be if we had springtime all year round…

Possibly my favourite thing about Spring are the delicate blush coloured blossoms that look like little pink marshmallows adorning the bare winter trees…

Their varied pink hues beautify the landscape, bleak and brown after an icy cold winter, and their sweet scent fills the air…

Lovely warm Spring weather means hours spent out of doors, breathing in fresh air and soaking up some delicious sunshine.

And what better time to do a spring inspired photo shoot of the five younger children…

Our Bethy girl, all grown up at almost fifteen…

The lovely Gabrielle at almost twelve years old…

Our Rebekah girl at nine years old…

Sweet Sofia at seven years old…

And the adorable little Caleb at almost three years old.

I can’t believe that Nancy and I have now been in China with our family for almost six weeks.
We had a whirlwind first month which is why you haven’t heard from me…

We have explored quite a bit too – we spent a whole day visiting an ancient town, we attended a paper making workshop held at a museum, walked around a beautiful garden…experienced a traditional Chinese meal and dressed up in traditional Chinese costume.

I am eagerly looking forward to sharing these experiences with you…
In the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram where I regularly post photographs of our daily experiences.

Blessings and love…
Kelly-Anne

  3. Ah, yes...lovely springtime! It is quite magical and oh so wonderful! I keep thinking about just how much beauty there is to anticipate this time of year, always something new blooming or new colors to spot in the gardens. Purely blissful, and you captured it perfectly in your photos, my friend!

The photos of your younger siblings are so precious, and I know you must be savouring all the time you are getting to spend with them. I love Miss Rebekah's flower crown so much...I want one! Hee! And that picture of Caleb with his hands in his pockets is just too much. He looks like a little adult!

Thinking of you, dear Kelly-Anne! And wishing you a marvellous week! Love and hugs to you ♥

  9. Beautiful photos!

But I think spring could never be so loved and magic if we had it all year, right? It's short and sweet, so we have to enjoy it NOW! :)

  10. What a special Spring photo shoot of the children, Kelly-Anne. You took many wonderful pictures. They all look sweet in their Spring clothes, and Rebekah's wreath of flowers made me smile. The pink blossom trees in the distance is the perfect background. What an adventure to be in China with your family. I would love to experience a Chinese meal there, as Chinese food is a favorite. Wishing you wonderful days of May, Kelly-Anne.
