 Hello lovely friends...

It is a beautiful rainy morning in my part of the world.

Autumn has arrived in all her glory and I am delighting in the cooler weather and rainy days...

I have something a little different to share with you all today...  My sweet friend Elizabeth from Ponderings From the Inglenook (one of my very favourite places to visit by the way...) recently shared this delightful Q & A with her readers and I thought it would be fun to do it too!

Oh...and you may have noticed my lovely new blog design...{{Smiles}}  

Elizabeth very kindly offered to create a beautiful new design for me and oh...what a wonderful job she did!  I love how femininely simple it is...and of course all the flowers make my heart sing! 

Elizabeth also did my previous blog designs for me too...she has a way of creating something that really reflects my personality and interests... And she is such a precious friend too!  {{smiles}}

WHERE I WAS BORN: Cape Town, South Africa

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOURSELF: I am really shy but usually hide it pretty well.  Once I get to know someone and feel comfortable around them...well, then I am far from shy!  {{smiles}}

DREAM JOB: Wife, Homeschooling Mother, Owner of a gift/decor/baby shop

CURRENTLY LOVING:  Being able to drive!  I got my Driver's license on Monday and oh my...what a joy it is to have my own wheels!  {{Smiles}}

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: My family.

SOMETHING YOU WANT TO LEARN: I would love to be make all my own clothing...there are so many beautiful patterns I want to try but require skills and techniques.

FAVORITE SWEET FOOD:  Something I seldom indulge in...waffles and ice cream

FOOD I CAN'T STAND:  Oysters. I can't imagine actually eating one...  That and sushi... 

FAVORITE TAKEAWAY:  I actually don't really eat take away food...

MY SPECIAL TALENT: I have a phenomenal long term memory...  But my short term is terrible...especially if it happens to be a dreaded chore!  {{Winks}}

I USUALLY WAKE UP AT: 6am...sometimes 6:30am depending on what time I went to bed the night before...

AS SOON AS I WAKE UP, I: Go into the house and make coffee for Mom and myself.

MY GO-TO BREAKFAST IS:

THE TIME IT TAKES ME TO GET READY: Depends whether I am staying home or going out.  If the former, about 15 to 20 minutes...if the latter, more like 45 minutes...

THIS PUTS ME IN THE BEST MOOD:  Listening to music...

PRODUCTIVE OR UNPRODUCTIVE?: Very productive

ALL ABOUT YOUR NIGHTTIME ROUTINE:

STAY IN | GO OUT

FAVORITE NIGHTTIME ACTIVITY: Watching a good series.

HAVE TO DO BEFORE BED:  I like to read a Psalm before I switch off the light.

GO-TO SNACK: I prefer to stay away from snacks after 7pm.  But if I really need a little something...a cup of tea and a homemade cookie.  Or a bowl of popcorn if I am watching a movie.

USUALLY I GO TO BED AT: Between 9 and 10pm

PRODUCTIVE OR UNPRODUCTIVE?: Usually unproductive

GOOD READ | GOOD SHOW (That said, should get into a really good book...I find I cannot put it down...)

THE LAST THING...

I LISTENED TO: I can't actually remember...  But probably Lord I Need You by Matt Maher.  I have this song playing several times a day.  A current favourite...

BOOK I READ: Oh dear...it has been awhile since I read...  It was Where Hope Prevails, a Christmas gift from my sister.
