Thursday Pearls

"Earning happiness means doing good and working, not speculating and being lazy.  Laziness may look inviting, but only work gives true satisfaction."

~ Anne Frank

"For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat."

~ 2 Thessalonians 3:10, KJV

Happiest of Thursdays, my dear friends!
May we always remember what a blessing it is to work...may your hearts be challenged and inspired!

  2. Good quotes! Yesterday I was just thinking of the satisfaction of hard work when I was all wet and saw-dusty after helping load branches and firewood from a tree my father cut down at a neighbor's house...we kept working through the rain. It was actually sort of fun! :D Today will be a busy day as well, so this post is good encouragement!

  3. The quotes you find are always a blessing, Kelly-Anne. I have found it to be true...work does give satisfaction. As long as we don't allow it to consume and control us! Big Hugs to you! Camille xo

  4. There is so much fulfillment to be found in working hard and doing our absolute best...even in the small things that seem so insignificant. I loved reading this, and it was a great encouragement to me. Thank you for the effort you put in to be such an inspiration to us all! Sending you love and hugs, sweet friend. :)

  6. A wonderful quote, it goes along with what I am working on, to "Work willingly, not wearily". I love reading your blog, Kelly-Anne!
